Annika
Annika Poitras
Annika is an artist and sometimes scientist from Wyoming’s Wind River Mountains. She is inspired by magic, nature, and the places they intersect. Her recent pieces are based on her time working with Whooping Cranes in the marshes of Wisconsin, King Rail in the wetlands of Missouri, and Whip-Poor-Wills in the forests of upstate New York. She began her apprenticeship in early 2024 and is excited to begin her career in tattooing. When she isn’t working on her art, Annika is probably outside, spending time with her dog Tex or her flock of pigeons.
Annika recently started her apprenticeship at Tattoo Kaiju. Stay tuned for details on being some of the first in her chair!
